Lawyer's Profile

Jude was called to the English and Ghana Bars in 2013 and 2014 respectively. He has been a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in the United Kingdom since 2009 and a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London.

He has immense expertise in banking & financial institutions, commodities-value chain finance backed transactions, international trade sales, international arbitration and carriage of goods. He is currently a part-time law lecturer at Central University, Ghana and teaches Commercial Law. He has presented lectures on various topics in Ghana in the areas of banking, electronic sale of goods in Ghana, arbitration, law of evidence and labour law.

Kweku graduated from the University of Ghana, Legon with an LL.B.
Quality of Care Liaison (QCL), University of Ghana, Legon – Ghana
He proceeded to the Ghana Law School in the same year and obtained his QCL
University of Pretoria, South Africa
he obtained a master’s degree (LLM) in international trade and investment law. He also holds an Advanced Certificate in Business and Human rights law in Africa, from the same University of Pretoria.

Honors and Awards

Both at the School of Law in the University of Ghana and at the Ghana Law School, Kweku’s name became a household name for mooting.

He represented the institutions at Moot competitions locally and internationally.

He is the proud winner of the 53rd Law school moot competition where he was further crowned as the overall best orator for that graduating class
